Rye flour

Postby Stevemul » Tue Oct 23, 2018 10:11 am

Has anyone been able to buy 100% rye flour in Spain?
If so, can you please share where?
Many thanks

I think both Eroski and Carrefour may have harina de centeno in their Bio/ecologico sections. I'm sure I've seen it on my travels there as I make bread and I'm always on the lookout for different flour. (I have also used the spelt flour from Mercadona - I haven't bought it for a whilst so they may have stopped stocking it, as they do with items that don't sell well).

Thanks for the replies.
I found a rye bread mix at Iranzo in Nerja but once again it is a mix of flours containing some rye.
Obviously rye is a difficult flour to use for bread making. Has anyone been successful in making any which is not stodgy and heavy?
