Went browsing for pellet stoves today (as an alernative to my current, expensive electric heating system - see another thread about that!) and came across Bioethanol "estufas", some of which looked very attractive indeed. No need for flues either. Costs seem reasonable to buy and install, but what about the running costs?
Has anyone on this forum got one, tried one, or otherwise examined the pros and cons?

Re: Bioethanol
I would be very cautious with these, especially flueless.

Re: Bioethanol
My cousin in Sweden has one in his home he reckons it's no different from burning logs (efficiency wise) and the initial cost is twice that of an average logburning stove !!
