Rugby is not followed in Spain but a few Irish bars around Calle Granada are sure to show it. Go to Plaza Uncibay and once on plaza turn sharp left by Cidre bar. Irish bar on left shows all live sport.

Rugby is followed in Spain. It's really popular around these parts. In fact, the European finals were held here in Bilbao last year and Heineken Cup rugby is sometimes played in San Sebastian. Nearby French teams from Biarritz and Bayonne use Real Sociedad's ground for some matches.
The match is live on ITV so with a VPN can be watched on a TV here. Good luck to England tomorrow.

Ok I should said not followed like it is in the Uk where every single bar will have the final on with food and celebrations. Not one Spanish bar here on the coast will show a rugby match that kicks off at 10am because no Spaniards would go and watch. Irish bar or home, its your choice.

Congratulations to the "Seth Efricans" on a magnificent dispaly of rugby football, b**t*rds ! Having said that there is no way a French referee should have been given that responsibility, there were at least two very dodgy penalty decisions !!

I think every fan was of the opinion that they only had to turn up and collect the trophy. Englands final was last weekend.

Agreed, Costa. England played their final last weekend but the Springboks waited until today.

We have a small British contingent in our village; six couples. Whenever there is a big sporting series — cricket, football, rugby, etc. we take it in turn to host the match in our homes, with refreshments at halftime, and it works well as the atmosphere is great and the food also pretty good.
