I am intrigued as to who you all think i am. I joined this forum to gather some info a few months back, and did get some stick right at the beginning, accusing me of being all sort of "trolls". i did lash back, because, quite frankly i found it appauling that an innocent newbie be treated in this manner. Since then, i thought i had been accepted. Obviously not It is a shame that some here do not seem to be happy unless having something/one to moan about. I do feel an affinity with those that are happy here tho, and did feel some reciprocation back...maybe i was wrong?

I have also got rid of the awful slippers hubby bought me for xmas, I usually think myself as a total sex kitten but hubby bought me pink velour ones with a hippo on the front , oh dear.

No, can't imagine Katy in grotty slippers at all! In fact, don't think I can imagine you in any slippers Katy - much too elegant.
I hate slippers. And on the rare occasions I've had any, I always end up going outside in them when it's wet and ruin them (deliberate I wonder?). Envious of the 29 degrees over there, even if it has been a bit overcast. But at least we've had a good day here in Yorkshire and I have my next trip over to look forward to.

My slippers were more like a fur boot Ok with trousers but just didn't go with a silk dressing gown!

I never usually see anything I like in Next, but went back to UK for Mothers day and got 3 nice tops and two pairs of linen trousers, everyone here has been asking where I got them. Don't think I'll let on about the Spain delivery
