El Chorro

My friend has retired to a lovely house near El Chorro. He lives on his own and my family often go out to visit, and help him to decorate and renovate his new home. I am a bit concerned that he has not found a local doctor's surgery, or where to go in a medical emergency, as he is off the beaten track a bit. Any advice would be gratefully received.
