I have just organised a get together with some friends at pasta factory later on this christmas, its a great place and not too expensive. Give me a date, target price per head, time and estimated amount of heads and i can get a price but we should be able to do it for 15-20€ per head

What about that lap dancing place in Banus second line, just across from the kebab shop, don't know what it costs per head though!!

ok - so far on the list is:

MaggieMay
Spanish Lad
Jade138 - perhaps?
Ian.Wilson - depending on where it is (it looks like the Marbella area is winning)
Poshtotti
castakid
topper

Any other takers? I was thinking the week between Christmas and New Year - maybe the Wednesday, Thursday or Friday

once we get more people on board we'll probably do another poll to see what people want to eat - I hear there's some nice spanish food in spain - maybe a 'menu del dia' with some booze thrown in though it would be quite nice to go to a place with a bit of 'atmosphere'

Dec 27th - Potluck session at a friend's house, 9 couples

Actually, on a serious note I have an extremely full calendar between xmas and New Year. You lot can't be getting out enough if you are free at that time.
On a more serious note if toppers going, no good for me, I hate crowds.
I wear it well...........

so Katy - are you in?

It looks like inland is winning - suggestions please for venues - I'm sure Spanish Lad can check them out if they are close to Alhuarin (sorry I think I might have spelt that wrong)

in terms of dates it will be either 28th, 29th or 30th of December

I put a post which explained why I was out of this but it seems to have been deleted. As follows

I would like to keep all my allusions/disallusions. what if Spanish lad turned out to be a pensioner, beachcomber a real lawyer, Frank actually living in an apartment in Torremolinos, Tops was really a 15 year old in a fez and myself living in a caravan park in fuengirola

Marbella area would get my vote. However, looks like I'm going to have to pull out.........I know you were all desperate to meet me, ha ha ha  but I have family coming on the 24th staying to the 30th. Seeing as I haven't seen them this year, think I'd be in trouble doing a bunk.
