i haven´t seen it, but from what i hear its supposed to be very true to life ?
- police brutality,
- groups of english teens going out to get plastered,
- slutty english girls,
- spanish / english fighting in the streets,
- excess drug use on the costas...
has anyone seen it ? i´ve only got "basic" sky, i cant watch it myself.
to be honest i´m surprised theres not a big stink kicking off about it ? why is no1 talking about it ? is everyone trying to deny what real life is in spain ??

Alhaurin el Grande since 99, working at the airport since 2011.
I have watched the programme mention
Bravos Costa del crime, but I was not shocked at all at the behavior, because this is just an enhanced version of every town in the uk every week. A certain element of Brits always go to far and show us all up.
The only shock I had was the mentioning that Benalmadena (or probably more accurately arroyo) is full of poor ex pat Brits who act like an underclass in a uk inner city.
I also think their money is needed to keep all the bars open.
I am sad that the spanish will judge us all as hooligans!

I cannot speak for anyone else, but what you describe takes place in most UK cities, most weekends (apart perhaps from the English and Spanish fighting).why is no1 talking about it ? is everyone trying to deny what real life is in spain ??
So it is not that different, special, or unique to Spain.

Remember that everything that Fred Astaire did, Ginger Rogers did too; except she did it backwards and wearing high heels!
Re: why is no1 talking about the "costa del crime"
I live near Estepona RIGHT ON THE COSTA DEL SOL, and have been here for three years. I do not know anyone, Brit or Spanish, who has been robbed, the victim of police brutality, is a slutty English girl, or fights in the street, but there are some noisy golfers in season. What do these people have that I do not have Do I need to move up campo Confused.............spanish_lad wrote: - police brutality,
