We have successful Wireless Internet + Phone connection close to Velez Malaga via AVI Iberbanda. Waited 7 months after Internet installed though for phone to be connected! Works really well - as does Skype.

We have the same system (AVI). Internet installed 2 weeks after ordering and phone ready 2 weeks later.
Since I gave up hope I feel much better!

Currently there isnt any coverage for the outskirts of Chiclana for the companies who provide wireless WIFI WIMAX ADSL/Broadband. But if you want this to change get in contact and hopefully demand will drive this.

I just have a basic dialup connection and line with Telefonica.

They were very quick to install the line. We phoned on a monday and they were done by Thursday.

Only problem is my village has no broadband availability at the moment. Mind you, looking at the prices of Telefonica's broadband services, I won't be rushing to get it when they do upgrade the local exchange!!

Hi all,

My broadband is taking some time and I have now this Wanadoo Tarifa Plana for 20€/month and it goes with a normal telephone connection. So far it has been working perfectly and I would even keep it, it is not slow even though I am in Monda, which is quite rural... so I totally recommend it heathxxx
