On Sunday noticed a new Indian Restaurant, only been there about 2 weeks so I believe.
We had already eaten but the owner invited us in to0 have a look. Looks nice inside and has a few different dishes on the menu that I've not seen at other Indian restaurants.
Have a look at http://www.mumnerja.com/ for menus, photos etc.
We will be trying it soon.
Cheers

Nice website - menu looks interesting.
They have 20 reviews on Trip Advisor all giving 5 stars - however, 11 of those are reviewers with only one review in total!

Their menu del dia looks a good price and it is what we usually try if a new restaurant has one. Otherwise their a la carte looks pricey ..... one of our favourite starters, prawn puri, is 7.50€.

Went there for lunch today.
We had two of the Chef Special dishes which we've never seen in another Indian restaurant.
The Lamb Hundy and Scechun Chicken. Both, in our opinion, very tasty.
Some people might say they aren't hot/ spicy enough but we like to taste the flavours other than getting a burnt/ stinging feeling in our mouths.
Very pleasant atmosphere and surroundings in the restaurant.
Friendly and attentive staff.
Only downside was, compared to other Indian restaurants, it was a bit pricey.
Cheers

If it was good I wouldn’t mind it being a little bit more pricey. I think its hard to find a really good Indian and Chinese thats authentic.
Re: New Indian restuarant in Nerja
To us the quality and comfort of the furniture, the décor of the room, the table linen, the efficiency and friendliest of the staff and the quality and taste of the food are more important than if the food is authentic whatever that is these days.

Went for lunch today. Food excellent. We tried the mixed starters and three of the chef’s special including the two Gerry had. They were brilliant and so much better than the usual over tomatoey dishes so common in this area.
The four of us have eaten in almost all the local Indians and in our opinion it is better than the rest, but a bit more expensive than some.

We had a take away from there a couple of months ago when we were in Almunecar. The staff were friendly & chatty, the meal itself was as good as any Indian we've had in Spain, although I always find them a bit on the sweet side. I'd certainly go back if we go that way again.
