Over in Sept if you want me to bring some over. I'll be heading to Duquesa so it's no bother.

On the other hand you may not want to know what gelatin contains

It's got nothing to do with whether Unicorn is a vegetarian,a vegan or for that matter, a Venusian.
It was mentioned that gelatin is made from all sorts of animal snot and i was just pointing out that there is an alternative.
Nothing complicated about it.

Have just been into Mercadona and in the area with the yogurts,Lo and Behold, sugar free jellies. They are also gluten free.

The results of the experiment are in.

I bought the sugar free jelly from Mercadona. It is in little pots and in in the chill cabinet, and just under a euro for 6. They do not have the sachets to make up at home.
Anyway, they have been tested and I have to report that they are not as nice as the UK ones, have a bit of a tinny taste.

My conclusion is that, on balance, I prefer the UK ones that you make up, but in an absolute sugar-free jelly emergency they can be a susbstitute.

My neighbour works at El Cortes Ingles so I am going to get her to check if they have them in the food store at Puerto banus, which is massive.
