I don't know where you are, but over this way Velez Malaga to Nerja, the local Aldi and Lidl have usually always got dried mushrooms. Aldi sell several bags of various types and I think Lidl now have a shelf permanently stocking them.

Re: food
Park in the underground car park in from of El Corte Ingles and head east over the river and along Alameda Principal (the tree lined avenue with all the flower stalls. Take the second turning on the left up Calle Torregorda and the main market is two blocks back from Alemeda. It's a huge building, recently completely renovated.
Even if you can find what you want elsewhere (they will certainly have them in El Corte Ingles) it's worth a visit just for a browse.

Re: food
I will definately go to market when next over (a few weeks) can you tell me the actual street or address.
I do not know Malaga too well when driving so what i usually do is put the place or address (if i have it) into the satnav, i will then drive to this point and then search for a parking as i find this easier and i am only looking for one place, as for the driving i am ok with that and am generally good at finding parking.
thanks

Re: food
It's in Calle Atarazanos.
I really suggest you take my earlier advice as there is absolutely no chance of parking anywhere nearby which is why I suggested using the car park in front of El Corte Ingles in Avenida Andalucia and walking.
The roads around the market are a nightmare of narrow one way streets.

Calle Atarazanos
The narrow streets are not a problem, knowing me i will drive to the place and then after i fail to find parking i will then take your advise.
