Anyone seen this for sale in southern Spain? If so where?

I haven't.

Part of the problem is that they don't live in the wild in Southern Spain.

We bought fifteen eggs one year and hatched 11 of them for eating approx a year later.It was too much trouble to continue as you need seperate enclosures during breeding season.

You could borrow my incubator. :lol:

Our local Mercadona has an advert for Christmas meat to order above its butcher's counter and shows faisan along other meaty offerings. We have considered ordering one but if they are as skinny as the local lambs are I'm not sure I'll bother.

Someone mentioned on here within the last 2 weeks of a real good butcher who delivers all along the coast. Cant remember his name but its worth a look in previous posts.

It's the next post down. Yes his meat is really good (had the brisket slow cooked in black beer gravy .... lasted us four nights!!!) and vouch for his sausages too.

Black beer gravy, mmmmmmmmmmm, I bet that brisket's also good an a barmcake with best butter !!
