Sprout Lovers
Mercadona had Sprouts back in today €1.99 for 500g pack and a rarity for Merca Lambs liver.
Re: Sprout Lovers
I wonder if they'll still be stocking them for Christmas!
Our local one seems to have stopped stocking frozen New Zealand lamb apart for just a couple of packs of lamb chops. We used to buy the shoulder to slow roast. Not sure if it's just our one that stopped or not.

Might make a comeback for the winter. There have been some half shoulders - They were rubbish.

Re: Sprout Lovers
Personally , as I've indicated previously, I think Sprouts should be totally banned and allowed to become extinct...
And I agree with fincalospinos that they are probably responsible together with cows for global warming....
I can't imagine why anyone would want to spoil a perfectly good dinner by adding sprouts.....

Sprouts au gratin:
Blanch in boiling water for 3 mins, drain, in an oven proof dish drown them in cheesy bechamel sauce (heavy on the mature cheddar) top with some freshly grated parmesan and finely chopped almonds, oven medium hot (175C) oven for eight mins, voila !! really nice with fresh cod !!
