Oriental food.
Does anyone know where I can find a Chinese/India/Asian food store anywhere near Malaga?

There is an asian/oriental type spice shop in the centre of marbella town. It´s next to El Stanmore Dry Cleaners. Coming up to the main road from the Skol Hotel turn right onto the Ricardo Soriano. Walk for about one hundred metres and you will see the sign for the Dry Cleaner. Go down the steps on the right and you will see the shop on the left before you get to the dry cleaners. Sells all sorts of spices reasonably priced as well.
Oh Yes! another day in paradise!
There are a lot of Chinese mini super markets all over Malaga..(not in the center) that sell the usual foods. You can get lots of spices from a spice shop on the other side of the river (dry) opposite a hotel thats behind the Corte Ingles. Russian food down by the port. African shops here and there. What exactly are you looking for?

The usual Chinese things like black beans, yellow beans, dried mushrooms, dried shrimps, wonton wrappers etc. plus some fresh products such as Chinese greens etc.silver wrote: What exactly are you looking for?
I brought a lot dry stuff out from the UK after a visit a year or so ago but am running low now. I know some items can be found in some supermarkets but at a vastly inflated price compared to proper "ethnic" shops.

the asin supermarket in fuegi is near the bus station. if you walk towards the square with the church on it from the bus station keeping on the right side of the road there is an alleyway with an opticians on the corner, the supermarket is down that alley. very small tho. its next door to a carribean hairdressers.

I know your question was about Malaga but bearing in mind your location is Granada I thought I would mention something in the latest Insight newspaper. It says that there is now a well stocked Asian supermarket just off Calle Recogidas. It is called La Casa Comercial Hua Feng, Calle Luis Braille 6. Tel 958 083606.
Don't know if this is of interest.
