Help - Ingredients translation

Postby Paula » Tue May 23, 2006 5:09 pm

Can anyone tell me what the Spanish word for "capers" is? And dill? I'm sure I bought fresh dill last summer, but can't find any, and then found I was stumped when trying to think what to ask for. Anyone seen it readily available anywhere at the moment?
Also anyone ever seen fresh cooked potted crab meat anywhere?

alcaparra is capon
cooked potted crab meat
I have seen in little pots in the fridge where salt fish anchovies are.

:D alcaparra and eneldo are right and so is silver { as always} but it's capers not a capon as you would obviously need a much bigger jar to squash a capon in.............................
is the sun over the yardarm yet ?
