Not yet.

I've got to get through another 4356 before I get to that one but it is highly rated and less than 20 euros.

Where did you find it?

It's listed in the Peñin guide at 18 euros so the price sounds pretty good. It is also highly rated - in the top 100 Riojas. I will see if my local wine merchant has got some.

I have looked at the Spanish wines advertised on the ST wine club and I reckon that at least 50% of them are bottled and labelled purely for the export market - not that that's a bad thing.

It just makes it impossible to look them up in the Peñin guide!

Incidentally the guide is now published in English.

AM very surprised that nobody cares to mention the greatest of Andalucian wines. renowned the world over. Savoured by many and on our very doorstep. Delicious and with so many different variations. From the beautiful dry wine that goes so well with sea food to the extra sweet one that is delicious with some desserts. A trip to the region that produces these wonderful bottles should be easily achieved from anybody in Andalucia outside the Sherry triangle.

I find Spanish wine compares favourably with a Welsh claret.

Cerrosol is a Bodega in Rueda. They make a number of wines - which one was this?
