You're welcome! Is it worth a visit? I have driven past there dozens of times, but never been in. In that area, we went in Posada Morisca quite some time ago, and won't be rushing back there. But it could have changed since then.

I have just rung them and they are shut Tuesdays! We have been a couple of times and the food is very rustic and Spanish. I have had some nice papas a la pobre there. Other friends have been recently and raved about it so we were all going to meet up there.
Well worth a visit, views are fantastic. Family run and great food. They do not mind whether you are out for a full meal or just a snack. We like to chose just a couple of racions and beer or a bottle of wine, and we make it last a while. Finish with coffee and a drink and that's another very laid back afternoon or evening gone!
I realise Spanish meals can be long drawn out affairs, but I think I would have been out of there long before that! It's a bit ackward after you have ordered, but we have walked out of a few Spanish bars/restaurants after being ignored for some time. We thought we'd try a new bar in Frigiliana, place was empty, and the owners carried on talking as if we weren't there. Their loss, our money is welcome in lots of other places!

If it is busy, you need to plan the way you order the food. It is not the normal - starters, main, desert, type of menu. You simply order plates, or rations. If we go there we order a couple of plates 'primera' such as a salad and rosada frita, and follow with a potato dish and a meat or two. This way the kitchen are not trying to prepare everything to hit the table in one go. We may wait a short while for the first dishes, but It seems to work for us, and for them. But I agree it can be pretty slow if they are packed out. It is always worth the wait.
It always amazes me when some tourists walk along a street looking for a good restaurant. Inevitably they'll go to an empty one so they'll get served quicker. There's usually a reason why a bar/ restaurant is empty.
