Venta San Miguel restaurant (on the Punta Lara - Nerja coast-road) is to close operations at their splendidly rustic premises at the end of the year. Anyone who has eaten there will know of their legendary Cordero, cooked to perfection by el jefe.
We understand they might be looking at alternative premises nearby, but that's not certain.
I thought some of you might like advance warning of this. One era ends, another . . .

Re: Venta San Miguel, Nerja
Well, it's happened...
The old rustic Venta San Miguel restaurant is now stripped out, and the family embarked on re-fitting the old and neglected Boatyard (Varadero) bar a short distance away (along the beach track between the car park opposite their old premises and Nerja).
The new sizeable premises are being gutted and refurbished, and Miguel hopes to be open again in December or January. Can't wait!
