Hi - I've opened a page ( 'The Teba Tale' ) about the 1330 event which ended the adventurous life of Sir James Douglas at Teba as he attempted to carry the heart of Robert The Bruce to the Holy Land. Sir James (the 'Black Douglas') was one of the signatories of the Declaration of Arbroath (Scotland) which has gained international recognition over the centuries for it's profound stance on the freedom of man, even influencing the writing of America's own Declaration of Independence. It's on the sub-page of '1300-1399' on website:

Re: Teba & Sir James Douglas
My late husband and I visited Teba this year with family from Scotland, worth a return visit as the weather was driech bit like Arbroath at times. I never knew of the connection till family found information on the www also.
