Another excellent exhibition of paintings, this time by local artist Viola Petra Schoepe.
“Sueños secretos” can be seen at the Centro de Información Turística – Grazalema from 26 May – 12 July 2012....opening at 12 pm on Saturday 26th July, there will also be a tasting of breads made from flour from our antique flower mill plus local olive oil and of course wine from the Sierra de Grazalema.
Born in 1959 in Berlin, Viola has lived in Germany, Hungary and since 1994 in various regions of Spain such as Valencia, Malaga and Cadiz(Villamartin). In 1998 she discovered painting for herself after experimenting with various art forms such as tattoos and craftwork.
Painting gives her the opportunity to express her feelings and thoughts for others to experience and the free style of her work are a reflection of her different personalities
In 2002 she was member of the artist association NOMADA from Malaga and she has held several exhibitions of her work in Malaga, Casares, Sabanillas, Arcos de la Frontera, Bornos and Villamartin. Violas paintings have also been exhibited in England, Holland and Germany
She does not have a preference for any type of material. It is simply important to her to express her ideas and feelings as much as possible to realize them.
