I keep seeing all these moans about estate agents commission here in Spain as if it's something that never happens in the UK :? I know it's a bit more transparent there as the agent simply charges a percentage of the selling price to the vendor but can anyone honestly say they've not considered the amount of commission when considering an offer? I've certainly negotiated the price to take into account the selling costs and even put a house on sale for an extra few thousand to allow for low offers.
