STEP ONE-W'eve sold our house in Bristol

Postby Dave Purple » Thu Oct 25, 2007 2:59 pm

Hi 8) Thanks to all again who replied a few months ago re -musicians/bands etc. W'ere now in our 2 bed rented flat in Hotwells Bristol having just sold 4 bed house, so you can imagine the clearing out we had to do. At least now I've got easy access to all my guitars which have ended up on a stand in the hallway as theres no where else!
Anyway we are now going to start looking in Earnest- well Almeria actually, We want to be either in a town or just outside, preferably walking distance, but would like some nice views, via a veranda/patio area.
Looking for 2 bed. As I may have mentioned before I'm a bit of a disaster when it comes to D.I.Y so will have to be pretty up together, but happy to decorate.
Our budgets max is around £90,000.
So if anyones got any ideas please let me know
Thanks

Dave

Ever heard that song?

They split it right down the middle
And gave her the better half
She got the gold mine
I got the shaft

I think it's Gerry Reed

I've researched the Almeria area, though not thouroughly, It seems that prices on the coast may be beyond your stated budget, Inland however, the prices of village houses look pretty good, seems there are still some bargains around!

Nice one Rick.
Hadnt heard that but it did feel a bit like it at the time.
At least I got to keep the pension and the yacht.

Be very careful around the Albox/Almazora Valley area, there's a lot of problems with illegal builds and the situation is likely to remain unresolved for years. If you like that area much safer to look at old village houses or those built well within the town boundaries.

Lubrin and Antas are nice established towns and still predominantly Spanish and the prices may be more reasonable, especially Lubrin as it's that little bit more inland.

Happy house hunting :D
