Jimbo the Scot

Postby gilesc » Sun Aug 05, 2012 3:36 pm

Hello everyone,

Has anyone heard, or seen, Jimbo the Scot lately?
We're looking to him to remove some of our posessions from Lancaster - Nerja.
My husband has emailed him a couple of times but no response so far.
We hope he's not ill or off the road for any reason.
This forum has answered every single one of our queries so here's hoping we track Jimbo down via you brilliant forum members.
Regards
Carolyn.

Don't see how that explains anything, they have not asked for him to contact on the forum but have sent him emails he has not replied to.

I thought that the fact he says he is enjoying some time at home may mean he was taking time out from e mails. Forgive me for trying to be helpful.

Hi Gilesc,

Sorry for the delay in replying,I have now replied to your e-mail.
Your mail came in on Friday afternoon regarding a move in October, and I was in the middle of organising my trip sheet for the trip that starts tomorrow and I must admit, been a bit distracted by the Olympics,
I do try and reply to mails as soon as possible, but when I`m on the road it can be 2 or 3 days before I get internet access, also, like this weekend, when I`ve been planning the route for the upcoming trip,an enquiry for a couple of months ahead, may take second place to the route planning.
My apologies for the delay.

Jimbo.

Now, if only Jimbo had a Smartphone he could pick his emails up wherever he was, but like me, he hasn't quite got to grips with the new technology :lolno: . I've always found texts are answered right away though.
We're moving the last of our possessions next month as we've decided to leave UK for good and as usual I'm happy that Jimbo is still around, as he's legal, friendly and reliable and has never let me down. Indeed you'd be hard pressed to find anything negative about him on any of the forums.

Jim has a web site which gives both his office number in Spain and his mobile number, he drives so phone/mobile would seem the logical way to contact him and not a forum.

I know that form of communication works as he has carried out some UK - Spain and Spain-UK removals for me within the past 5 months ...........the service and communications were excellent. Great guy, great service.

Anyone know if Jimbo has surfaced yet? I've mailed him twice, once on 18th August and again on 21st and not had a reply yet.

Feedback on here has been positive so I'd like to know if there's a problem rather than pestering him again.

Thanks

I too need to track down Jimbo. Been let down on removal of boxes (no furniture) so time is of the essence. New to website so how can I get a quote from him or similar? :?:

Hi Ninja,

I`m in Scotland tonight, heading South on Sunday. If it`s urgent from UK to Spain, call me on my UK mobile 07985 762606 or e-mail me at [email protected].

For eveyone else`s information,my website is down at the moment, house was flooded recently and computer was frazzled when water got to it and has crashed. I have someone trying to get back into it but have lost passwords to access the hosting company,so if anyone has mailed my website and had no reply, please re-send mails to above address at yahoo.

Regards

Jimbo
