Landline telephone adaptors

Postby BellaFay » Sat May 09, 2015 5:01 pm

Hi All,
I was wondering if there is a place in Malaga (Velez Malaga region) where I can buy adaptors for my Panasonic landline phones or would it be best to buy them in the UK. I have been told that with an adaptor the phones will work and I 6 telephones in my home here so it would be a shame to have to get rid of them.

Any ideas :?:

No idea but check REN values first if you use 6 phones.

You probably need something like this:

It used to be necessary to have more complicated adaptors for UK equipment but I think most modern phones will work anywhere. I have a normal Movistar landline and I have six wired telephones and four cordless ones plugged into it and they all ring and operate with no problem

Does that mean you're using the phones from the UK with that adaptor? That's a really really cheap solution. I love it

If your phones are relatively new they should work with that adaptor. Older phones need a BT primary socket. It would probably be best to buy one in the first instance and see if it works with all of your phones.
