Challenging foreign businesses at the Costa del Sol Business Awards 2009

Marbella, 30th September 2009. Based on theory that rewards for good practices are the best challenge for the Andalusian business community, CADE Marbella, the business support centre of the Junta de Andalucia, is celebrating next 15th October the Costa del Sol Business Awards 2009.

This is the second edition of the exciting ceremony which will be held at El Fuerte Hotel in Marbella in close cooperation with the Malaga Chamber of Commerce and the international department of Unicaja.

Through the organisation of these prestigious business awards CADE Marbella aims to honour, support and promote the foreign business community of Andalucia.

As long as it is based in our region any foreign large, medium or small company and even a single professional may opt to one of the six categories of the Costa del Sol Business Awards:

Integration in Andalusia
Innovation Award
Business Promotion of Andalusia
Association Award
Young Entrepreneur
Company of the Year

The awards’ winners announcement will be preceded by the conferences of three highly topical guest speakers: Olga San Jacinto from Google Spain, Claus Rohrer from Buchinger Clinic and Chris Chaplow, president of Andalucia.com and highest achiever in the qualifications of last year’s Company of the Year.

The master of ceremonies of this glittering event will be the popular Irish businessman and charity fundraiser Maurice Boland, of Talk Radio Europe, who will ensure a great atmosphere for all the involved. The magnificent evening will be closed by a cocktail party.

“Being selected as a winner or finalist is a great achievement and a real opportunity to generate positive publicity for your business across all media.” said CADE’s managing director, Óscar Fernández, who has an impressive business background himself as operations manager of Siemens in Malaga for over 13 years and best experienced in setting up new businesses abroad. Not wishful thinking he has been working to integrate the foreign business community in Andalucia since CADE was opened in year 2006 and assisting business projects in fluent German and English.
