Slow Draining Sink

Postby Alan-LaCala » Thu Jul 26, 2007 8:13 am

Apart from taking off the U bend and ensuring it is clean, is there anything you can put down the sink to help improve the flow?

Yes you can but it depends on what is causing the problem. If it was cal then Agua Fuerte would work fine but usually the problem, especially in the kitchen, is food waste which tends to be greasy/fatty.

For that you need caustic soda or something equivalent as that will dissolve the grease.

We found some really nasty stuff in the ferreteria called "Tubefon Desatascador Revimca". Its a heavy dark brown liquid - it worked a treat.
