GETTING OIL OFF OF CERAMIC TILES

Postby patricia » Sat Jul 19, 2008 11:16 am

My neighbors bless them park their scooter outside the front door just to the left of these lovely doors and their scooter leaks oil, they have now put some cardboard there but the other day the oil leaked all over the place and there is about a six foot length of oil - looks awful - so I want to clean it has anybody any ideas what would pick it up, I thought perhaps just detergent might do or possible aqua fuerte!!

Detergent should do the trick - pretty much what it's designed to do.

Cat litter - the greyish kind - absorbs engine oil. Pour it over and use your feet to 'grind' it in and leave it for a while, then brush away.
