Wood turning lathe

Postby tinak » Sun Mar 04, 2018 10:51 pm

Hi
Hopefully this is the right category! Just wondered if anyone knew of anywhere in Andalucía, preferably Almeria province, that sells wood turning lathes? We are looking for one for our son. Murcia would be okay too. Many thanks in advance

Don’t know what your budget is but there are loads on the web, from 150€ to over 3000!
Search for “torno por madera”.

I got mine in Bauhaus. It's a while ago and cost about 350 euros. I haven't used it a lot but it works well.

Thanks for the info. We have been looking around on the web for him but couldn’t seem to find anything other than the amazon listings. We will have another look as well.

Thanks again

Don't forget to try all the Amazon sites: .es, .uk, .fr and .de. Content can differ.
.de can be good for tools.
Bauhaus can sometimes be expensive - looked at a workshop dust extractor there, which was €400+. Same item on Amazon uk for half the price, delivered.

Also worth browsing <justoffbase.co.uk> - big stockist of Draper, Sealey, etc.
Why the name? They established themselves on the outskirts of a USAF base in Suffolk, apparently.

Have a look at https://www.axminster.co.uk
They are a UK based company but will deliver to Spain.

We also looked at Axminster as my father in law uses them a lot for his tools. Will check out justoffbase and Bauhaus as well as the other euro amazon sites. Thanks again!
