Sickly Palm Tree

Postby Bronze » Sat Aug 25, 2007 5:48 pm

I have inherited a large palm tree without any palms..!

Is there any thing in particular that i should be feeding it or treating it in a particular way..

The tree is about 7 years old, it is about 16ft high.

Many thanks in advance.....

My advice would be to ask a local, it may be dead or affected by the palm tree beetle, in which case you need to contact your local town hall and tell them. They will then arrange for a professional to come round and cut down and remove the tree, at junta de andalucia expense as its a very resistant pest and the tree needs to be disposed of properly. Male palm tees are more affected by this than female.......

sorry to not be more positive
