Garden Sheds

Postby fincalospinos » Tue Oct 16, 2007 4:34 pm

Where is the best ( cheapest ) place to buy a garden shed ( 8x4 ), wooden or aluminium, between Malaga and Motril ?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

CHHHRIST Spanish, I nearly fell off my hammock, 2K !!!!!

My fault, I am still an old feet and inches man ( it always makes things sound bigger ) :D :D

I meant 8ft x 4 ft or the nearest metric size.

Both Leroy Merlins and Bauhaus have a good selection of self-build sheds and they will deliver - for an extra fee - but agree, not cheap, allow around €600 for a wooden version but don't expect good quality for this price. The basic structure is fairly sturdy but the doors on ours warped - had to reinforce them and they still don't shut properly. Roofing material melted and disintegrated in the sun and needed replacing within the year (replaced FOC by LM). Plan to top with mimbre before next summer to shade it and hopefully stop the replacement ashphalt melting. Not exactly maintenance-free !
