Yes, it's a yellow Jasmine - we have one and it's in flower now.

It looks like a Jasmine mesnyi
Originally from China and with a flowering time through March and April it is planted for ornament.... It's definitely not a tree due mostly to its twining and climbing habit
This one stumped us for a while when we first moved to Spain because of its similarity to Jasmin nudiflorum.... This one pictured above has leaves with the yellow flowers where as nudey florum has flowers without leaves...naked flowers.... (winter jasmine).... So its not a winter jasmin in the picture.....
