Apples
Any suggestions as to what types of apples do well here? I have heard that most varieties need an extended cold period but that there are Australian types that do well. Ta, Spike

Re: Apples
Your right ... many English varieties stand little to no chance. Rather than look for possible varieties I would suggest you go to your local Nursery or garden centre and attempt to discus it with them.
Its usually a good sign that if they stock them they will be suitable for the local conditions, however that is no guarantee.
Also take note, that you will need Irrigation since apple fill in the driest period down here

Re: Apples
Do not be tempted to try and import stock from the UK as it is a fire light area (Spain isn't )
As suggested, local stock.
