There several ferreterias in Coin where you can but a hand axe. There are two on the way out going towards Malaga, on the right of the horse roundabout, either side of the filling station.

My thanks to all who replied. Your help is appreciated. I'm going down to the Horse roundabout today so that reply was indeed timely. Once again, thanks.

while you are at the horse roundabout you will see the chinese bazaar shops near the proper ferreterias.

if you have one or two pallets to split, spend 9 euros in the chinese then use it and buy another one next week... they are made of cheese :lolno:

Please take some advice, buy one in a proper ferreteria. it might be 20 euros, but it will last.

If the axe is made of cheese it may well be dangerous.
Use it caerphilly.

I beg to differ spanish_lad. It will readily cut you, just not the item you are trying to cut, like the mustard.
