strange 'fruit' on eucalyptus tree
strange 'fruit' on eucalyptus tree
There is a line of mature eucalyptus trees here ... I noticed this morning that on one of the trees is a strange 'fruit' ... about 2 inches diameter, shiny bright red on the top half, pale greenish below and very light so it does not hang down but is growing upwards ... it looks a bit like a small apple ... and reminds me of oakapples ... (I dont know how to use photobucket I could include a foto) ... ?anyone know what it is and/or what is growing inside it?!
