Wireless networking of Vodafone3G USB Modem

Postby Martin Page » Sat Feb 23, 2008 10:52 am

Has anybody sucessfully Newtorked Vodafone 3G USB Conection ?

Ideally, Id like to establish a wireless network ( for 3 computers)

But at a push I'd settle for a crossover wire 2 point network. Hosted on Vista with XP SP3 nodes

What Router would you use ?

How would you congfigure it ?

All coments (cept the smartass ones) greatfull apreciated

Martin

Dont know about the USB version, but a Vodafone datacard in a Linksys router works. We're too far from exchange to get landline broadband but the above normaly runs at 2-300. A big improvement on the 10 we get on dial-up. That is in Benalmadena as well as cold, wet Scotland.
