BBC London is on Sky Channel 974, don't know about ITV Wales because the best ITV Channel here at the moment is ITV London on 993. Most of the alternatives are in the 900 group.

I would think that after a few nights of bad windy weather your dishes need to be realigned. It only needs to move a fraction to reduce it's effectivenes in poor weather.
I get up on my roof once a year to make sure the dish is pointing exactly where it should be
We must remenber that we are on the edge of the footprint for the signal so the dish must be almost perfectly aligned

Hi Mark

Thers no wind here, its still hot and calm, all windows still wide open all night, so the dish hasn't moved with the wind, its strange its ok most of the time then goes funny at 9 at night, not bad tonight

Hi Julie
the problem is that it's someting that happens gradually and if it's slightly misaligned at certain times of the day you lose the signal through various reasons. maybe it's Atmospheric It could be the line of sight to the satallite is lost a little, however, if the problem has started after a period of no problems I would check the dish

As my dish edge is close to a wall I have marked on my dish and marked the wall, so can see the movement and I realign the two marks when needed. A bit crude I know, but it seems to work. You can also buy a sat finder.

Bad weather need not be here. It could be bad weather at the transmitter site where the signal is beamed up to the satellite causing degredation of the signal. Even electrical anomalies in the atmosphere that aren't visible can cause interference.

Don't forget, we are on the edge of the footprint, or outside it, so the signal is not at its strongest to start with.

Just have to try leaving it unplugged for a good while, funny I was talking to someone who live half a hour away in Albunol, and they had the same as you last night, ok this morning, I feel sure its the sky satallite as opposed to the dishes this time, mine is ok again now, but when funny in the evenings last weeks for about 4 nights.

Don't think it is the satellites themselves as we had no problems with Freesat, which comes from the same satellites as Sky.

Wonder if Sky have made their signals a bit weaker.

I am also having problems with my spanish free to view, but I thought that was just because they are changing over at the moment.
