Movistar Domo 3 hand set

Hi, I have a Movistar Domo 3 handset and the red light on the front flashes continuously, is this normal, if not, has anyone any idea how to cancel it?

I don't have one of these but the instruction manual is below. I think the flashing led you have is the message indicator? so presume you need to delete any messages you have on it and that the led will then go out.

I get the same. Usually after a call. I find that by dialling in a number(any number)it clears. I also find that if I get a call while it is flashing that it clears.
