Thank you for that
To all others - can we stop the back stabbing and political point making - it doesn't add to the knowledge available on this forum

Re: KODI
Are you not able to do it yourself? There are so many workshops on how to do it online. Even though it can appear daunting at first, it is quite a straight forward process. In the end you will need to learn because it will probably need updating quite regularly to get rid of bugs.

Re: KODI
For 4th generation Apple TV
http://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/iosapp ... 7-3640061/
If it's a second generation apple TV you have, it looks like support is being dropped as Kodi is becoming unstable on it.
https://kodi.tv/article/farewell-future ... evelopment
If that is the case, it might be worth going for a Firestick or Amazon box if you want a more powerful machine because there is a paid app that allows you to airplay to it anyway called airbuddy
It works fine, I use it to listen to BBC catch up radio
More info on installing on 2nd generation here

Re: KODI
Costakid as an alternative you could always install KODI directly to your smart TV see link below (assuming you have a smart tv).....most smart tv's will accept Kodi but check as some recent Samsung Models running Tizan don't support Kodi.
I had Kodi installed a while back on an LG Smart tv and it gave great results, but that was me just fiddling around

Re: KODI
Another option - you can easily install Kodi onto a laptop or tablet. There is always the option to then connect to your TV via an HDMI lead.

Hola
If you have an IPTV streaming box, then you don't need a smart TV - the IPTV box does everything that a smart TV does
