A Real Techie Longshot

Postby Unicorn » Tue Aug 08, 2017 7:07 pm

I have successfully set up bluetooth dongle, headset

But there is a new challenge. The bluetooth asked to pair with my HP LaserJet 1080 but wanted a pin. This is apparently on the disc which I cannot find.

Long shot, is there a default code??

Helppppppppp!!

Try going online and downloading the LJ 1080 user's manual.
Maybe some info there.
Possibly also a backup-downloadable copy of the missing CD.

Hi Unicorn,
As per the above post get hold of the manual...........

Entering the code “0000” will often work. If not, you may need to check the device’s documentation (or perform a web search) to find the PIN it needs.

Some HP devices default code is 000000 .........six zeros
All my best learning experiences start with a problem I need to solve.
