Not really. It's a 32" LG.
But back at home my 50" Samsung sits happily on 80cm unit.
Have you seen a 1.2m unit? its WIDE

We used to have one similar to the one in your picture, which was bought in John Lewis. We too found it a bit big so changed it recently. It might be an idea to look at other designs.
Our latest one, bought in El Corte Ingles, has a base with a stem where the cables can run up to the TV hidden inside and one shelve. The TV hooks onto the frame. Even though the TVs have gradually got bigger, it actually takes up less space.
