Streaming sites

Recently I have been watching old tele programmes which I love. However sometimes when I am searching(all the usual sites, I find what I am looking for but get a message saying that this is free but must sign up to watch. It redirects you to a site, which, once you have filled in name, email address you then press continue and they are now asking for bank details. They assure you that the site is free but they have to have bank details for legality reasons. I hasten to say I have always stopped short at this point but wonder if these are genuine sites or scams. A lot of them appear on You Tube(a waste of time site for tv or films because you cant watch a lot of them because they have been made impossible to watch). Any one help me please.

they are fishing sites. never put your details in them.

As Costakid points out they are Best avoided...............any sites that want even your Email steer clear .
