4G umlimited data sim?

Postby dingobingo » Tue Dec 04, 2018 6:30 pm

Are any providers offering 4G unlimited data sim cards in Spain? If yes, do they allow tethering?

I'm in Spain for a month and my usual company is charging 90€ for 120gb for a one month deal. So I'm shopping around to see if I can find cheaper. Cheers.

If you are based in the EU, use your ISP from wherever you are based.
I use tethering. A couple of years ago, I took out a month deal with 3 and was told it wasn’t possible to tether. However, for some reason it tethered with no problem

Yes, Three offer unlimited tethering in the UK and also allow you to use up to 15 Gb per month around the EU. 15Gb is no good to me, I used around 150Gb a month.

Most of the big boys in the UK offer unlimited data for a price. Not on PAYG obviously so may not be cost effective to sign a contract for 1 months overseas use. Have you looked at Vodafone ES with a dongle. I had that system a few years ago.

Vodafone is essentially what I use but via a third party internet supplier that will do a 1 month deal, but that's at €90. Probably that's the one I'll have to go for. Worth noting that this is limited to 120Gb, but I can manage with that I think.

About the best Gb/€ PAYG deal I found (not looked in a while, though) was Simyo but, at 20Gb, nowhere close to what you need. Although they are offering an additional free 10Gb Navidad extra which can be used up until 16/01, IIRC. Might be worth considering as a bit of one-off additional.

Just read an advert in a free paper.
Telitec claim they will provide 4G with "totally unlimited internet"
Might be worth contacting them.
