Does anyone know if is possible to top up a movistar pay as you go phone from the uk. If i dont top up mine before the end of the month i will lose my number and i am not due back until December.

Hi costakid, you can top up online at the "telefonica in english" web site, I think they charge 50 cents per every 10€ credit. You might be able to do the same on the movistar web site but I can't get on the site to check it at the minute, but worth a try.

You can also do it with the on-line banking service of most banks.

You could also ask a friend who lives here to do it for you then pay him/her back when you return. All that's needed is the telephone number.
