Vehicle ITV

We´ve not been asked to show our proof of insurance when taking the car for its ITV. Only Ficha técnica & permiso de circulación, but maybe it varies between stations.

I have had a look through my things and I cant see a Ficha Technica, can someone explain what that is!!

It is a green coloured card folded in half with the technical specifications of the vehicle printed thereon.

The reverse side is partitioned off into a number of boxes about 1cm x 2cm where the stamp of the ITV is placed and the dates of validity shown for each ITV inspection. Without this card you will not be able to get the vehicle tested.

I have never been asked for proof of insurance but I know people who have.

Oh dear I have just failed on emissions also!! What was the name of the stuff you can buy to lower the emissions!! Do all super markets sell it or is it somewhere like Eroski!!

We have ITV coming up in just over a week. Emissions is the thing we are worrying about most. Can someone let me know the name of the additive. Thanks.
