Selling a car + valuation

I have a friend who wants to sell his little old car, but thinks he will not be coming to Spain until after the summer at the very earliest. Is there any way of selling it without him being here? He is not resident, so I don't know what papers he needs to produce - perhaps his passport as proof of ownership? I wonder if his assessoria could do anything on his behalf or would she have to have a proper power of attorney?

Secondly, any idea of the value for a 1992 Corsa 1.0L, 2 door, petrol with ITV to Feb 2009, and 81,384kms??

Thanks, that's a useful site but unfortunately doesn't deal with such ancient cars - appears to only go back to 1997.
