Trafico

Postby dido72 » Tue May 27, 2008 8:54 pm

How do I inform Trafico of my change of address? Do I have to go there in person? If so where is it and what docs do I have to take? Or can I do it on the internet, by post or by phone? If so what is the website, postal address or phone number. Does changing my address with Trafico mean I will get a road tax bill as I haven't had one yet?

Sorry for all the questions!

You can change your address with Trafico at your local Ayuntamiento.

I think you can only do it at certain Town Halls:

Thanks boys so I have to go to my town hall to ask if I can do it there? Is this not done automatically as you sign on to a new padron? The bloke in my old town hall in Frigi said he thought it all went through to trafico when you signed to new padron but wasn't sure and as I haven't had a road tax bill I assume he was wrong.

No, you have to do it specifically.

I don't know if you will be able to do it in Antequera. The DGT web site only lists Alhaurín el Grande, Pizarra, Istán and Torremolinos although in Alhaurín they didn't know anything about it until I told them!
