These 'Big Boys' remind me of my ex-brother-in-law: he was in opencast mining in the 70s/80s (owned Coalite at one time!). He said best lesson learnt was never sack a driver while he was still sat in the cab of one of these - they could spin the wheels and burn off several thousand pounds' worth of rubber in seconds if they got p1**ed off!

If you just use a dumper or a tractor on your own land you do not need any documentation. There is a special type of registration for agricultural vehicles which use public roads to get from one location to another.
