Do you mean for selling a second-hand vehicle? I'm not sure that these values are published in list form now. The values are incorporated in the online form which calculates the amount payable:

The original car values used for taxation (less appropriate depreciation allowance) are at http://goo.gl/d2NOy

Thanks Enrique - I don't know why it wouldn't accept the whole link so I have corrected it.

The figures I thought you wanted were the depreciation figures.

The bands for the matriculation tax are below but I don't know if that applies to the transfer tax.

CO2 emission of less than 120g/Km = 0% of the vehicle value

CO2 emission of between 120-160 g/Km = 4.75% of the vehicle value

CO2 emission of between 160-200g/Km = 9.75% of the vehicle value

CO2 emission of more than 200g/Km = 14.75% of the vehicle value

My apologies, that is what i was looking for, thankyou Sid.

Ive just been to the office this morning, and the values for Co2 are different now, ranging from 0% to 16%.

Co2 under 120g/km - 0%
between 121g & 159g - 4.75%
between 160g & 199g - 9.75%
above 200g* - 16%
anything older than 1/1/97 - 13,2%

*above 200g figure also applies to any quad, any boat engine and any mobile home.

thanks for the help guys, looks like the guy needs to pay close on 650€ to import his car. Nice

the listing here said 27,400 € for his model, their book in the office says 27,000€ - not alot, but it made a bit of a difference in the total price

Aah , I was getting confused from your previous post where you said transfer tax , which is for existing vehicles being sold. I thought that they'd changed from the 4% & 8 % bands to Co2 !
The Co2's for new & re-registration.
