Second-hand bikes

Postby elizabennett » Mon Mar 14, 2016 2:35 pm

Does anyone know of a good place for second-hand bikes in the Marbella-Fuengirola area? We are looking for one or two basic push-bikes for cycling short distances, around the local area near our apartment. Alternatively, are there any good websites for second-hand bikes? Does Spain have any equivalent to sites such as "adverts.ie" or "loot.com"?

Hi elizabennett,

Have a search through..................

http://www.milanuncios.es/

Bikes listed here..........

Also look in your local bike shop.

Thanks Enrique,
I've taken a look at milanuncios. There isn't a lot in bike section.
As for local bike shop, there isn't a bike shop in Elviria (our nearest village). I was wondering if there is a bike shop in the Fuengirola/Mijas/Calahonda/Marbella areas.

Have a look at Decathlon's website, brand new bikes are pretty cheap these days (from around €100). There's a store in Mijas (by Iceland). Sometimes they also have a marquee set up in the car park where people can trade in their old stuff, and they sell it on under the Trocathlon name: http://www.decathlon.es/trocathlon-depo ... -mano.html
Don't worry about what people think, they don't do it very often
