Gestor and taxes

I have just had an online quote for the registration of my car from UK to Spanish plates. The physical changes aside ( lights etc) and the ITV. Does anyone think this is a good reflection and know of any additional costs? The quote is;

Import* import certificate, road tax 2016, traffci tax, government stamps, colegio de gestores, number plates and fee.

Can't give a definitive answer - you'll need El Cid for that (or someone equally as knowledgeable) but when I put my Discovery over to Spanish plates it was nearly 1700 Euros and it then had a value of around 12K euros, so it's comparable......and I think emissions comes into the equation somewhere.

The registration tax looks OK.

As for the rest, I can't comment as I have not had to re-register a car. Dfx should know as he is experienced in these transfers.

Rip off. We are in the EU (at the moment) and the taxes were paid in another member state. It really should be a paperwork transaction but its never that easy.

Thanks guys. Looks as if its fairly reasonable. A bit expensive but I would rather be legal.
